This apple pie dessert is a family favorite. Mix and match anything you'd like to add to this pie - raisins, nuts, chocolate chips, its up to you, but don't forget the apples.

       1 c  Whole Wheat Flour
       1 c  Sugar
     1/2 t  Vanilla
       4 ea Egg whites
       2 t  Baking powder
       2 c  Apples, peeled and chopped
       2 T  Cinnamon-sugar mixture *

* Mix 1 1/2 T sugar with 1/2 T cinnamon.

Preheat oven to 350 F.

In a large bowl mix the flour, sugar, and baking powder. Stir in the
vanilla, egg whites and chopped apple. The apple mixture should be
very thick.

Spray large pie plates with non-stick spray. Divide the apple
mixture into the pie plates and sprinkle top of pie with the
cinnamon-sugar.

Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or till top of pie is brown.

(Note… Time may vary depending on apple pie’s moisture and
contents).
